Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page to raise money for beating bowel cancer in memory of my dad.

Running the London Marathon was somthing I promised my dad I would do back in 1982 when at 42 he ran it in 3hours and 51 minutes. The agreement was put in place after I said I would beat his time when I reached 40. Well the time is now and April 2014 is fast upon us.

That is why this page is named this one's for Pa!

I am honored to be part of the Beating Bowel Cancer London Marathon 2014 Charity and couldn’t run for a better cause.

I can pay back my promise and raise money in the process, as I lost my dad to this awful killer so I have double the reason to get myself around come April 2014!!

Many thanks for you who have donated so far and those who are about too, It means a lot and please if you see me pounding the streets of Yeovil, East Coker, West Coker, Montacute and Stoke give me a honk in your car!!

To track my progress and check that I am working hard please follow me on my Strava page too!:

www.strava.com/activities

Or just get to Strava.com and search for James Miller – Yeovil, UK.

I want to raise at least £2k so please donate kindly.

Sponsoring me online is so easy and once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks to all of you and I’ll keep you posted.
