We fund medical research to help more children beat cancer

Story

Inspired by our friend's little boy's fight against a rare and aggressive brain tumour, I am taking part in The Midlands Tough Mudder to raise money for Joseph's Appeal. This was set by our friends who are dedicating 2016 to raising £11,000 for The North of England Children’s Cancer Research Fund (NECCR) – that’s £1,000 to mark every round of chemo Joseph had.

The charity funds vital research into the causes and treatment of cancer in childhood, developing less toxic and more effective treatments, for the benefit of children with cancer everywhere.

Please take the time to read Joseph's story: www.josephsappeal.co.uk or on Facebook.

Please support us all in any way you can and help fund a brighter future for children with cancer.

About the charity

The aims of NECCR are to raise money for the continuing vital research into the causes and treatment of Childhood Cancer. Objectives are: Find the causes of childhood cancer and to develop new treatments. Increase the number of children cured of cancer. Make treatment less distressing.
