We support research at St Mark's Hospital to drive clinical improvements for patients

Story

This competitive trio are taking part in the 2010 Tough Guy challenge on 25 July 2010 in aid of St Marks Hospital

This is no easy undertaking. Tough Guy is branded as the Worlds safest, most dangerous taste of mental and physical pain, fear and endurance. The course is the equivalent of a 10 mile run, comprising a number of obstacles along the way which include fire, barbed wire and lots of stinging nettles.

Intro to the team

Kate Moxey: at 5 ft 1, Kate is the smallest member of the team. But what she lacks in height she makes up for in mental strength and sheer determination. Core skill in running and other cardio based activities, Challenge: the high A - frame obstacles.

Liam “The Hulk” Hogan: Mr competitive personified. Good all rounder – specialising in upper body strength, challenge: underwater obstacle

Tom “what’s the point in taking part unless you win” Rios Shulver- Impressive upper body strength and physique, challenge: won’t admit to any.

We have been training for a number of months for this and are putting ourselves through a lot of pain so please dig deep and show your support.

All money raised will be in support of this worthy cause.

Thanks for viewing  and many thanks for your sponsor.
