Next weekend I will be running 5K for Feedback Trust, specifically supporting the development of a project that helps to save the Endemic Tapia Forest, the last remnants of highland primary forest in Madagascar, through the revitalisation of the silk industry. 

However, in order to participate in the run, I first need to fund-raise a minimum of £50, so I'm counting on your support and contribution !

Much of the Tapia Forest is at risk of degradation from logging, bush fires and the invasion of pine trees which threaten its survival, as well as that of silkworm cocoons and the wild silk business as a whole.
The project will provide 2,000 trees for the wild silk forests, alongside support in the form of healthcare, fresh water and sustainable agriculture for the communities planting them.
The forests will themselves become a reliable form of income for the future.
