Story

On 1st December 2017, a group of us are walking over 50 miles from the Cenotaph in London back home to Sussex to raise money for Walking with the Wounded. The walk will take us overnight through the streets of London, across the North Downs early in the morning, and into Sussex finishing late the next day.

Walking Home For Christmas is Walking With The Wounded’s annual campaign to support ex servicemen and women with physical, mental, or social injuries (such as those who are homeless or those in police custody) to reintegrate back into society and regain their independence, through employment.

Last year, a small group of us completed a similar walk and raised over £10,000. This year, we have more teams of walkers and are trying to raise even more money to make a significant difference to the lives of ex-servicemen and women.
