Story

As part of the University of York Team, i will be running the Amsterdam Marathon in the October of this year. I think this is a brilliant cause for an excellent charity which is currently doing invaluable research in all areas concerning cancer. Furthermore, Worldwide Cancer Research currently has 0% of it's annual budget designated for marketing and thus all donations made to the charity will be funding research and not advertising.

On a personal note, it is a sad fact that every two minutes someone is diagnosed with cancer in the UK, having lost my Grandma to cancer at a very young age it felt that it was time to make a difference. No matter how small, to try and combat a terrible disease that can effect us all. That is why i ask you to support me in my quest to conquer the 26.2 Miles that is the Amsterdam Marathon and ultimately give back to a charity that has done so much for us already.
