After last year I am trying to repeat the one mile swim!  This time I hope to go a bit faster then the 1hr 10 min I managed then...  Last year the whole event raised about £40,000 for Hospiscare thanks to very generous sponsors.  Thank you.

Hospiscare gets 1/4 of it's funding from the NHS but needs to raise over £3million each year to keep on providing help to people with life limiting illness in Exeter, Mid and East Devon.  At any one time we are giving care to around 600 patients and their families.  I am privileged to work there and believe in the work Hospiscare does.  That work is only possible thanks to thousands of tireless volunteers and fund raisers and the thousands more who sponsor and donate at the fundraising events.
