Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My reasons for supporting ASPIRE is that I damaged my spine when I was younger but was lucky and didn’t damage the spinal cord.  My newphew Jack had a major spinal operation last year, luckily he is recovering well.

I aim to raise at least 1,600 by completing a sponsored swim between Malta and Gozo in August (I am really swimming in the sea).  Below is some information on the charity ASPIRE and the website address is www.Aspire.org.uk.

This swim is 5½ km open water between Matla and Gozo, the idea is to raise as much money as possible for people with spinal injuries. Please sponsor me and hopefully I will make it and not be the last to finish. THANK YOU SO MUCH

Just to let you know, my niece Maisy O'Neill (who is only 11) got up at Steyning's Got Talent Event on Saturday 5th June and told my story and raised over 155 pounds for the charity.Thank you Maisy you star x
