Story

Hello, I am riding the Alpine Raid this year with a group of friends, starting on 29th June in Geneva and ending 6 days later in Nice. The route we are taking will cover 720km and over 17,000 metres of climbing, taking in 32 mountains along the way. It is by far the biggest cycling challenge I have ever undertaken and dwarfs other events I have done like La Marmotte (an equally silly cycling challenge named after a rodent).

The event offers an opportunity to do something useful for charity as well as the chance to support a friend's family (the same friend I have to thank for me being a cycling geek today!). I am riding in support of NET patient foundation, supporting neuroendocrine cancer sufferers - a form of cancerI was unaware of until this year. Please help by lending me your support as I undertake this challenge.

Thanks, Toby.
