Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm part of a team of around 35 people attempting to complete the  3 Peaks challenge on 22 May 2010.  The goal is to  walk, climb or even crawl to the summit of the highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales all within 24 hours:

Ben Nevis - Scotland

Scafell Pike - Lakes

Snowdon - Wales

I've no doubt that this is going to be very challenging and am looking forward to the joys of  blisters, freezing temperatures and almost certainly driving rain. So why do it?

We want to raise as much money as we can for The Rainbow Centre. This is a Bristol charity assisting children and families affected by life threatening illness and bereavement. The work this centre does is nothing short of amazing. They use various therapies and couselling to help kids and parents cope with some of the most difficult circumstances imaginable. A quote from a terminally ill 7 year old attending the centre sums this up.

'I wish I could come to The Rainbow Centre and stay forever...until I die...or until I go to big school...'

There is a link below to the centre's website for a more indepth look at what they do.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please donate any amount that you can afford. Every penny is greatly appreciated.

Thank you. Tom
