We raise money in our son's memory to give to other charities helping children

Story

On 23rd February 2010 my son, Tommy died when a lamp post fell on him outside the Town Hall in Chiswick, West London.

He was a happy, healthy, delightful little boy who was the light of our lives and others around him.  We have set up a charitable fund in his name, the Tommy Hollis Charitable Fund (please click on the duck to find out more), but in addition to raising money through the fund I am going to try to raise money in Tommy's name through my own personal fundraising campaign.

All money I raise will go to the Tommy Hollis Charitable Fund which makes grants to other children's charities in support of their work.  This enables us to work closely with these charities to ensure that the money is used efficiently and where it is most needed.

About the charity

The Tommy Hollis Children's Fund is a fund for the benefit of underprivileged, sick and orphaned children in memory of our son who died in tragic circumstances. As parents who have lost a child we would like to give loving care to children, in particular those without parents. We will be working with other charities who provide this support in the most direct way possible in order to ensure that help reaches those who most need it.
