Story

Hi All,

I have been inspired to run this year’s London marathon and have managed to secure a place running for Help A London Child, a fantastic children's charity who work with vulnerable and disadvantaged children across London. However in securing my place I now need your help to raise a minimum of £2000! Apart from the fact that your money will go to a great cause, you can take great amusement in me running around the pot holes and hills of Billericay in this freezing cold weather.

Any amount big or small would be gratefully received and will make a huge difference to those whom this worthy Charity supports - THANK YOU

95.8 Capital FM’s Help a London Child was founded in 1975 by Lord Attenborough CBE, as the radio station’s charity, to assist and give opportunities to thousands of London’s children and young people experiencing abuse, homelessness, disability, poverty and illness.

The projects Help a London Child funds include support groups for children and young people with a disability, special need or an illness, as well as a range of sports, music, drama & leisure activities and youth clubs. Grants are also awarded to refuge & homelessness projects, holiday play schemes and residential breaks in the UK, cultural activities, supplementary schools, literacy programmes and much more.
