This is my first marathon and I am delighted to have been accepted to be part of the team for Great Ormond Street Hospital. 

Although I have not personally had the experience of their work I am a father of a toddler and I am so thankful that he is happy and healthy.  However, not everyone is as lucky as me and you never know what the future holds.  I would like to help all those families that require the support of GOSH.  When a family member is ill the last thing you ever should have to worry about is whether the hospital/treatment you need is available.  Trips to and from hospital can be so time consuming and draining on the families not to mention the worry and stress this can cause.  So I want to take some of the stress away and help GOSH raise additional funds.  This will enable some families not worry about fundraising and leave that to someone like me who has more time to do this while they concentrate on their children.  My son is my world and I can't imagine what some people go through when their child is sick and I just want to show them I care and I am ready to help.

So please dig deep to help these inspirational children get the treatment they need.
