We improve the lives of our patients to give them a better quality of life

Story

Tony's Legacy was set up in memory of our dear friend Tony Treadwell, who sadly lost his fight with cancer in April 2012. For the past 10 years, friends of Tony’s Legacy have raised over £5000 which has supported the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre (NOC), Sarcoma Research unit (Botnar Research Centre), built in 2013.

In more recent years, some of Tony’s family members and friends have also found themselves seeking help, advice, and treatment at the NOC and on Tony’s Legacy 10th anniversary, money raised going forward will be sent to the more generalised NOC Appeal to help support and improve the outstanding level of care and research they provide.

Tony would be honoured to know his legacy will help support ongoing research and development at the NOC and that all contributions will help improve diagnosis and treatments for everyone.

More information on the NOC appeal is available here https://www.ouh.nhs.uk/nocappeal/.
