Story
Hi All,
WE DID IT!!!!
A few of us (Dr Pink, Ed, Katrina, and Claire) took part in an extreme 3 hour spinning class on Sunday 14 November to raise money for two children’s charities – Honeypot and The Shooting Star Children’s Hospice.
Ed and Katrina are experienced endurance cyclists, Claire’s pre-event maximum was 1 hour (with extreme difficulty!) and Dr Pink had never been to a spinning class in her life (so had no idea what she was getting herself into!!!!).
On the day, Claire and Katrina decided to do a one hour spinning class directly before the 3 hours just to ensure that they secured their preferred bikes (sounds a bit similar to Claire’s desk obsession) and so ended up doing 4 hours – such fun! They foolishly thought that the instructor would go easy on them seeing as they had so many hours ahead – but no, the whole event was full on.
It was such a brilliant day, a really tough challenge, lots of fun, sweat and Lucozade, and we are very proud to have done it!!
As promised we have posted a few photos taken during and after the event purely for your entertainment.
Thank you so much to everyone who has sponsored us – everyone’s generosity and support has been astounding.
Thanks again everyone!
Ed, Claire, Katrina & Dr Pink
