<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit&nbsp;our JustGiving page.</p> <p>Well......so I've decided to climb Mount Kilimanjaro and even better I've persuaded Steve to join me (and hold my hand!!), absolutely no pressure, just 50 miles and over 19,000 ft not to mention &pound;5600.00 to raise between us!!</p> <p>That's where it's over to you........please give generously and help us to reach our target to help vital cancer research both in the UK and internationally.</p> <p>My Dad, Peter was diagnosed&nbsp;in June last year and managed to face the biggest challenge of his life&nbsp;living with cancer for 15 months&nbsp;but unfortunately it took over various organs of his body as well as his bones&nbsp;and he passed away in August this year. He was our main inspiration to take part in the trek&nbsp;and although his death was only very recent he told us before he died&nbsp;that he wanted us to go ahead and one of the last things he said to me was that 'he would see me up the mountain!!' therefore&nbsp;we are been strong and determined at what is&nbsp;a difficult time for us both&nbsp;in order&nbsp;to help others that have had, still have and have lost their battle to cancer by facing the biggest challenge of our lives!!</p> <p>Over the last few months we have been doing various things to raise money - we've done a car boot sale, sold anything and everything on eBay and my work colleagues have been treating themselves at&nbsp;Tracy's tuck shop!!</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
