Have you heard of Trailtrekker???

Let me paint a picture for you. 4 young, fit, eager souls, a support crew saddled up with pizza and other carb loaded goodies,100km of mud and rock paths around the Yorkshire Dale and 24 hours in which to complete it. Decribed as the UK's toughest team challenge which few have tried and even less have completed... ladies and gentlemen I give you TRAILTREKKER!

Chris, Sarah-Jane, Chris and I, together with our fantastic support crew members, will be heading to Skipton on 4 June to complete this hell that they call Trailtrekker and we need your support. Trailtrekker's origin is the infamous Trailwalker and forms a key part of Oxfam's annual events calendar. It is not for the faint hearted and having completed Trailwalker last year I have no idea why we are doing this other than it is for a great cause. The 4 walkers must start together, walk 100km together and finish together and with your support we will do that.

The money raised by us and the other competitors will go towards the huge number of projects that Oxfam runs worldwide to help those of us who are less fortunate than ourselves and suffer incredible hardships on a daily basis.

That is where you can help. By donating and contributing towards our goal you are not only making this worthwhile for us (and trust me we are going to need all the motivation we can get when it is pitch black dark, raining, we have been walking for 16 hours and still have 40km left to go) but you will be helping so many others across the globe.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

Following the recent earthquake in Haiti and the devastating affect it has had on the country's population, the team's fundraising efforts will be dedicated to Oxfam and all of the wonderful work it does across the world- in particular its efforts to help the thousands of people affected by the earthquake in Haiti on 12 January.

If you are able, please give generously and if not, please give anything you can spare- every penny really does help!

Thank you for your support!
