Story

Hello!

I am doing a Triathlon this September in memory of my lovely brother Joe.

Anyone that knows me knows I‘m not a natural 'triathlon person' so i’ll probably get a crap finishing time but I'm going to really enjoy (hopefully) achieving something I never otherwise would have attempted were it not for Joe.

I’ll be raising money for Women for Afgan Women, a grassroots organisation who are working tirelessly around the clock to provide safe shelter, resources and aid for families affected by the current unfolding crisis in Afganastan.

I know it’s been a tricky year for lots of people financially, so no pressure, but if you can spare a few quid, it would mean a lot.

About the charity

Women for Afghan Women (WAW) is dedicated to protecting and promoting the rights of women and girls in Afghanistan and New York. We work to help women and girls exercise their rights to pursue their individual potential, to self-determination, and to representation in all areas of life.
