Thanks for visiting our JustGiving page.  It’s a place you can make donations to the Triratna Development Fund.  

This is  administered by Triratna’s European Chairs Assembly and supports many of the most central initiatives in our Buddhist Community worldwide - all part of our mission to  create a vibrant and united Triratna Buddhist Community, in Europe and beyond.

During 2010 the Fund gave money to all these and more - 

* ClearVision (to fund ground-breaking online Dharma Resources for Young People)

* Windhorse Publications for a 'Sangharakshita Classics' series

* our new movement-wide website (coming soon at www.thebuddhistcentre.com)

* materials for a Triratna Legacy Fundraising Appeal

* support for a fundraiser at FreeBuddhistAudio

* improvements to the new Dharma Training Course for Mitras

* the Triratna Development Team (supporting 3.5 people to work full-time for Triratna)

* Travel expenses for International Chairs attending the Assembly 

Grants made in previous years have included -

* the support of an FWBO Fundraiser

* the Dharmapala College,

* support for Sangharakshita and his secretary.

At present the Fund is the only Movement-wide fund able to make significant contributions to new projects. Without this fund, the above work simply couldn’t happen. We’re very grateful to all the Triratna Centres worldwide which contribute - many of whom are somewhat financially squeezed - and we’d like to work towards making the Fund better-known and supported by a wider range of donors.
