Ty Hafan Swiss End to End · 27 July 2010

Sadly, thousands of families in Wales live every day knowing their child’s life will be short. At the moment, they often face this without any care or support. Alone. Afraid. Isolated. Tŷ Hafan’s ambition is that when a child’s life will be short, no family should have to live it on their own.

Story

Seven Days - Six Saddles - Twelve Wheels and the length of the British Isles!

On July 27th 2010,  whatever the weather, with nothing other than padded shorts, spare tyres (for the bikes and not on us :-D ) and plenty of energy, six friends will be starting the LONG trip from Lands End to John O Groats on our bicycles.  Yes, that's right, the whole 986 miles on a bicycle!

This ride is in aid of Ty Hafan Children's Hospice and all monies raised will go directly to Ty Hafan.  For those who don't know,   Ty Hafan provides respite, palliative and end of life care to the children in Wales who suffer from life-limiting conditions. The work they do and the children they help are simply amazing, and really put our own lives into perspective. However, to continue their excellent work they rely mostly on charitable donations, so whatever contribution you can make will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for supporting us

From the Swiss End to End Team.

With Just five days to go until the ride, i have taken off the amount raised off line as i want to put the HUGE total at the end of the race.... We have hit a great amount with thanks to everyone who has donated so far... Thanks
