We are raising money for The Encephalitis Society.

Like us you probably don't know much about Encephalitis. We began researching the condition after a friend and colleague was diagnosed late last year and it became VEKA's Company charity for 2015

Encephalitis is the inflammation of the brain and affects approx. 6000 adults and children in the UK each year. Caused by a viral infection, symptons can include: Cognitive and memory problems, epilepsy, personality changes and sensory difficulties.

The society works with sufferers and families to aid rehabilitation and to raise awareness.
