Story

Gosh how to start this!

Alan Lockley, passed away on the 24 March 2010 in Macclesfield hospice.  I knew Alan all of my life, he was more than a friend, infact , he was like a second dad.  So this year has been particularly hard to have lost such a wonderful person.  But not just for my family but for his wife Marian and her daughters Elizabeth and Rachael, in fact everyone who knew him in Bollington and his friends at the golf club.

I decided one of the best things that I could do to commemorate my love and friendship for Alan was to raise money for the East Cheshire Hospice where he spent his last few days.  The Hospice did a wonderful job caring for him and runs entirely on voluntary donations.

When I run in October in the Great South Run it will be very emotional and with your support I want to try and show my love for him by raising as much money as I can for The Hospice.

If you can give something, that would be wonderful but thank you for looking anyway.
