Hi Everyone, thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

SO.....the story! I'd like to start by saying that every year I have watched the London Marathon from my sofa and been in awe of some the stories I have heard from people who have overcome some serious personal / health issues and have always thought if they can do it, then I must be able to do it!................and so I now have the ultimate motivation, my partner's son Jakey has been diagnosed with Leukaemia (or 'bad blood' as we have called it) and he is a true inspiration in the way he is dealing with everything that is being thrown at him, a true hero!

I would like to raise as much money as I possibly can for CLIC Sargent who help support families and children affected by Leukaemia. They have been brilliant so far in supporting Jake and we have seen first hand the benefits of some of the amazing things that CLIC offer, these things are only possible through the donations that are made to the charity.

Oh.....and I currently struggle to run 1 mile so believe me this is a huge personal challenge for me but Jake and hopefully seeing the donations coming in will give me the motivation to keep running!
