As a sufferer of  EDS Type III I am aware of how important it is to raise the awareness of the condition.  EDS UK aims to do this together with funding medical research into treatments. 

I am lucky enough to be in a position whereby I can take part in the Great North Swim and raise money for EDS UK.  In particular, I would like to raise aware of a campaign for Annabelle Jane Griffin from Bury, who at just 3 years old was diagnosed with Vascular Ehlers Danlos Sydrome.  Annabelle's condition is life threatening and incurable.  -www.annabelleschallenge.co.uk
