Most of my friends and family were totally shocked when I entered a 10k run back in July as running has never been my strong point. I really enjoyed that, but decided I needed a bigger challenge. When I got invited to run the half marathon on behalf of St John's Hospice, I thought this would be a great opportunity, not only to raise money for the Hospice, but to also achieve something no one ever thought I would!!

St John's Hospice is the only independent hospice in central London. They deliver a unique model of care to one of the most vibrant and diverse communities in the world.

They receive funding from the NHS, but for the remaining £1.5 million, rely on voluntary donations and the generosity of the local community.
