Event: British Paralympic Association - Deloitte Ride Across Britain 2010, on 12 June 2010
We prepare the ParalympicsGB team to help their success inspire the nation

Story

Between June 12th-20th 2010, I will be cycling from John O'Groats to Lands End as I take part in the ride across Britain with 500 other riders (check it out on http://www.rideacrossbritain.com/ ). I will be riding solo and completing 1000 miles in total, riding 110 miles per day, every day for 9 days and camping at night. The route, takes us down the west coast of Scotland, through the Lake District, over the Bristol Channel, and across Dartmoor and will climb further than the height of Everest.

To do this I’m going to need a lot of training and a good bike and a very large supply of energy bars. I will also be aiming to raise £750 to support ParalypicsGB. All the money raised will go to ParalypicsGB to provide the support our athletes need to prepare for London 2012 so please give generously!

Many thanks,

Victoria
