Story

22 years ago my son was diagnosed with a life threatening cancer, thankfully he is now a happy healthy 25 year old with children of his own. It  was the hardest thing to hear, process and navigate. Had  I not had a fabulous network of friends and family I simply don’t know how I would have managed.

Acorns are there for any child that has a complex need, life threatening or life limiting condition and all of their family, in so many ways.. Making wonderful memories to cherish forever, providing overnight care, hydro/ physiotherapy, art/music therapy,  end of life care and bereavement support.

I believe every family should have access to this support  and by raising money, it will be helping to provide this vital care
