Each year hundreds of women and children use the services of Women's Aid, in South Lanarkshire and East Renfrewshire. Women's Aid provide shelter and support to women and children escaping domestic violence. Sadly, the Covid19 restrictions are making the lives of women and children living in unsafe environments even more difficult. This has resulted in even more women and children relying on the services WASLER offer this year. Many families using the services will have had to escape difficult situations with no/very little belongings. This could mean that many of these women and children will have little essentials and no extra funds for Xmas gifts. Each year we try to provide a gift for each child using the services. However, this year (due to Covid19 restrictions) we're unable to hand in a physical gift, so instead we're looking to donate money for WASLER to purchase vouchers which can be used to purchase gifts for each child. WASLER currently have 88 families, including 316 children using their services this year and we would love to provide a gift for each child.
