This year for August dress down, our team member nominated charity we will support is Helen & Douglas House in Oxford, a hospice designed specially to cater for terminally ill children and their families.  It is a special place that feels like home from home, where families can make the most of their time together and create happy memories during their children’s short lives.  Your donation can make a huge difference and below are some examples:

£20 could pay for an hour of music therapy a non-verbal patient allowing them to communicate, engage and express themselves.

£1000 could cover the cost of the entire medical team for 24 hours. We have our own paediatric consultant, specialist doctors and nurses as well as a fully trained care team in place at Helen House to provide the care, attention and expertise to our children when they need it the most. Paying for the team for 24 hours means multiple children and families are able to benefit.

£3,000 could pay for the community support team for a week allowing children to be cared for in their own home, providing an extra layer of support in addition to their NHS team and adapting the care to that family’s needs
