At last I have finally agreed to commit myself ( not to the local institution ) but to run in the London 2011 Marathon in aid of St John Ambulance.

I have a long standing link with this great cause, especially through my Grandma who was a long serving volunteer.

Between now and next year, Ingrid and I will be aiming to hit the £2000 target with a range of challenges, events etc. 

EVENT ONE - Ingrid is entering the Lincoln Triathlon on July 4th, to get the show on the road and would very much appreciate your support. Swim like a fish, ride like a witch run like a red setter. Completed in 1:37 - fantastic effort !!

Many national and local events rely on the skills and expertise of the St John to continue, so it is a great all round cause for all age groups.

Many thanks for all your support in advance of the cause or in the knowledge we will be enduring a lot of pain to get your money !!
