The campaign runs throughout May and aims to draw attention to a wide range of issues surrounding blindness and vision impairment whilst raising funds to support our students education and well-being.

Story

NCW is a national residential school and college for young people aged 11 to 19 who are blind or vision impaired.

At Waitrose Worcester, we proudly support our neighbours at New College Worcester. As well as offering internships each year to some of their students, we really enjoy getting involved in fundraising for them.

This May,  we want to support their campaign 'Eye Care We Care.'

The campaign runs throughout May and aims to draw attention to a wide range of issues surrounding blindness and vision impairment whilst raising funds to support the students’ education and well-being.

On Thursday the 12th of May we will be attempting to row and cycle the length of the River Severn - all 220 miles to show our support for NCW. From 9am - 7pm we will be on exercise machines just outside the store.

Please come and say 'hello' and hopefully sponsor us too! Our Partners will be taking it in turns on the machines and students and staff from NCW will also be popping down to see our fundraising efforts.

Special thanks to Worcester Rowing Club for kindly loaning the exercise machines.

A like, share or donation to help us reach our target would be fantastic! Thank you all.
