Story

Walking Home

Dan and Ben are two brothers from Conwy in North Wales and they aim to walk 'The Cambrian Way' in record time (10 days) during July 2013

The Cambrian Way is classed as one of the UK's hardest routes, starting in Cardiff Castle in South Wales and finishing in Conwy Castle, North Wales. The route is 275 miles long, it tops over 45 of Wales' summits, and has an accumulated ascent of over 60,000ft. We need to trek a marathon a day for 10 days!

We are both active servicemen in the Royal Air Force and are committed to completing 'Walking Home' within the record time. We are also pleased to announce that this event will be done to raise money for an extremely worthy cause - Walking with the Wounded.

Walking with the Wounded was set up in 2010 and aims to re-educate and retrain our wounded and injured soldiers, and return them to the workplace.  The charity identifies and supports organisations that look beyond immediate medical care and short term rehablitation to the challanges of reintegration and retraining for civilian life. Our wounded have a very different future to the one they had planned.

Join us in empowering those who have given so much on our behalf!
