We will be running to raise money for Newborns in Need which a charity that raises funds for the premature baby unit at heartlands hospital in Birmingham, it costs approximately £1,000.00 per child per day to be cared for in the Premature Baby Unit at Heartlands Hospital and as with many units it struggles with financing.
Our fundraising in specifically in memory to Ava and Kiera Brien (pictured), who were cared for by the Neo natal unit at Heartlands hospital. They were prematurely born at just over 23 wks in Oct 2007. The girls survived for 9 days in which an incredible amount of time, care and support went into the fight for their lives. For instance, it is around £1,000 a day for an incubator to be run/care and from that can only try to express to you how much your donation will be hugely appreciated.
So please, we urge you to dig deep and sponsor us in this meaningful cause.
