Hope House do amazing work supporting families. My family has been through an awful lot over the last 18 years since our daughter was born. However, I consider us fortunate; that although we've had many hospital stays and seen our daughter through countless surgeries we know that for many families the situation is worse.

I've never run a half marathon before; I do regularly run 5k and two years ago I took part in a 10k. So this is something new and will definitely take me out of my comfort zone!
