We fund research into type 1 diabetes to find a cure for type 1 diabetes

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) is a leading charity in the funding of research into diabetes (particularly type 1).  They are organising a static cycle race on Friday 3 Sept 2010.

Myself and my friend Maxine Frear are taking part in this event and we would be grateful if you could please sponsor us for as much as you are able.  We would also love some moral support so if you are free between 1230 and 1330 on 3 Sept 2010 please come and see us in Briggate, Leeds.

2.6 million people in the UK are diagnosed with diabetes and it is estimated that over 500,000 have it unknowingly.  Chances are you already know someone who has diabetes.

Every penny we can raise will help to fund the research into the cure for this life long condition that affects so many of us.

For more information about diabetes please visit:

www.jdrf.org.uk  and/or www.diabetes.org.uk

So please dig deep and donate now.
