I've raise over 60% of my initial target so far with donations comming in on line and off line. The just giving account is still open. I cycled 42.8 miles for the British Heart Foundation against strong side winds all the way. Please if you have it in your heart to donate a small amount then all is welcome. Hi, Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm taking on one of the biggest challenges to date. I'm cycling for the BHF Mending Broken Hearts appeal, 40 miles in the Heart of York. I only have a short time scale to complete the challenge.

It was only 2 years ago I found myself fighting for my life and in need of a heart transplant, so this is a big challenge. The BHF is a chartity close to my heart, at the moment there is no cure for a broken heart (Heart Failure) caused by a Heart Attack or other causes. I had a heart transplant and now live a fullfilled life.  I'm doing this for all those that suffer today with a broken heart. I know what it felt like to be house bound, to be breathless, to suffer with sickness on a daily basis and be so weak that I just had no quality of life. Heart disease doesn't discriminate and it effects the young and old. It didn't just limit itself to effecting me but my son and family also as they watched me with these distressing symptoms. This is my way of helping to give something back.

Your money will go towards helping medical research Scienitsts find a way of how to repair a damaged heart muscle. Please could you give just a little to helping others.
