<p>You could say my eyes are bigger than my belly! Well the same theory may apply. Last year I took part in the British Gas open water swims. When the Salford swim date came out, it mentioned the Manchester 10k run was on the same day and that there was a special swim wave for those also taking part in the run. Well until then I was doing neither but now I'm doing both!! Hey its only a 10k run and a 1 mile swim and I am after all Super Woman!!! Ok, maybe not but I'm going to give it a good go.</p> <p>A couple of years ago I went white water rafting in Zambia for Guide Dogs and met a few amazing people. They included Pete (Guide Dog Guru) and an amazing lady called Steph, who completed the 5 day trip including grade 4 and 5 white water - Steph is blind. I want to give any blind person the same opportunity as Steph, to do everything a fully sighted person can do.</p> <p>Justgiving wouldn't let me put both events up on the one page, but know this, I will complete both events even if it kills me (hopefully not!!) and I've already started training hard.
