Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

During the lockdown we have received a great deal of support from the local community and we are incredibly grateful for the many kind donations of food, flowers, face masks, scrub bags, hand sanitiser and more.

We are part of a registered charity and are a non-profit home.  Normally we raise money via coffee mornings, bottle stalls, summer fayres, garage sales etc.  Due to the current restrictions and protocols these avenues of fund raising are not possible and so we’re asking for your help.

We understand that many people are struggling at this time but please donate what you can to our residents fund.  This fund enables us to provide activities and equipment for our clients.

If you wish to see some of the activities and other information about Whinnieknowe then please visit our facebook page ‘CrossReach Whinnieknowe Care Home’.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity
