Story

Well known for athletic exploits, Team Whiteoaks are out in force once again.

We’ve signed up to take on the monumental London to Brighton Challenge on May 12 this year. It’s an 100km race that we’re aiming to run/walk/crawl and hopefully come in with an impressive time, under 24 hours.

Here’s the dream team - Chris ‘Mo Farrah’ Harris, Suzanne ‘Paula Radcliffe’ Munton and John ‘Steve Ovett’ Broy.

Recently, one of us has run a marathon, one of us has run half a marathon in Barcelona and the rest of it in his head so ultimately believes he has run one, and one of us has completed a pretty unimpressive 10km race, so we’re all in tip-top condition to take on this one.

We’re running it for one of our Whiteoaks’ charities. Disability Challengers is a Farnham-based charity and all money raised will go directly towards enabling disabled children locally to access vital play opportunities, helping them have fun, make friends and challenge their impairments through play. Your support will also directly benefit local families, helping them have a much-needed break from caring, time to catch their breath, spend time with loved ones or just do everyday tasks that would normally be impossible.

Please give generously!
