<p> <p class="MsoNormal">The Wiley Musketeers take on the Brighton Marathon!</p> <p class="MsoNormal">This year, Greg, Izabela and Kerry, AKA the Wiley Musketeers, have decided to go the extra 26 miles and run the Brighton Marathon for Children on the Edge! Teamwork is the name of the game, so we will be working together to channel that great musketeer idea: All for one and one for all! Greg will be providing the motivational mantras to help us through the pain barrier; Izabela will offer the inspirational attitude to help the miles whizz past quickly, and Kerry will be channelling the resolve and determination to help us all cross the finish line together. With a bit of nifty teamwork, we're sure we can get through this challenge!</p> <p class="MsoNormal">Of course, we are doing this for a great cause. Children on the Edge are a fantastic charity that exist to help the most marginalised and vulnerable children worldwide, those literally &lsquo;on the edge&rsquo;. They aim to give children who have been "robbed" of their innocence the childhood they deserve. <strong></strong>Their work throughout the world is guided by the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, which guarantees every child the same inherent and universal rights. <br><br>From setting up safe play and education centres in post-conflict East Timor and post-Tsunami Indonesia, to preventing sex trafficking in Moldova, to working with children fleeing ethnic cleansing in Burma, Children on the Edge innovate and use well proved practices in meeting children&rsquo;s social, emotional and educational needs, helping tackle and prevent the effects of disaster, conflict. loss and poverty.&nbsp;<br><br>Children on the Edge help over 5,000 children affected by such issues every day of the year, across 15 projects, 10 countries and three continents.<span style="font-size: small;"><strong></strong></span></p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
