Story

The First Monster is a relay race around Loch Ness for teams of 4.  Will and his team of friends from Dundee University managed to complete the 120km in 29th place (out of 200 teams) in a time of 6 hours, 50 minutes and 53 seconds - some 10 minutes faster than last year and 12 places further up.  Many thanks to Paul, Mike and Charles, who made up the team!

I went out to Peru in 2008 as part of a work party from Cupar Old Parish Church, in conjunction with the Vine Trust, to visit a home for abandoned boys that had been built in Ica, Peru with the support of the Cupar Old Parish Church.  Peru has a major poverty problem and many families unable to feed growing families are forced to turn out their young boys, often as young as 4 years old, to fend for themselves on the street, where they may unfortunately end up abused by all and sundry, especially Peru's Police force.  The home gives the boys a chance to make a fresh start, receive and education in a Christian environment and hopefully put them on a sound footing for a productive future.
