Hi Everyone,

Thank you for having a look at my page.  I have decided to take on this disgusting challenge to give something back to a cause that has helped me greatly in my life.  You may or may not know that in 1989 I spent just over 4 months in and out (mainly in) hospital to remove a tumour from my spine and lung cavity.  At the time I was too young to appreciate what everyone at Great Ormond Street Hospital did for me and my family or to thank them properly so now I would like to try and give something back so I can finally say that thank you.  Without the skill and care of the people who treated me I may not have been able to walk 100ft let alone attempt 100k.  Thank you so much for anything that you can give, every penny will make me more determined to finish my challenge as quickly as I can and not let anyone down.
