Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The Humane Education Society is an animal sanctuary in Wilmslow. They take in abandoned/stray and unwanted animals including cats, rabbits, horses and donkeys.....lots. They take care of them and where possible re-home. Most of the animals get rehomed (once neutered and vaccinated) but those that dont become site animals and live out their years at the sanctuary.

A few of us from Woodcroft Veterinary Group have decided to walk up Snowdon and hopefully raise money and awareness for this brilliant charity.

However small or large your donation may be, it all counts.

One of the site cats can receive medication for their ongoing condition for a month for around £9.00. All of the animals are neutered before being re-homed. This will cost around £35.00. The staff have to do a lot of travelling to pick up stray/abandoned animals so fuel is a must have! Your donation of £5 could feed a rabbit for a month. See, it all counts!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
