Story

SADLY THIS EVENT HAS NOW FINISHED.  However, if you were lucky enough to attend, there's a good chance you were snapped either on the red carpet, in the cinema or at the after show party by the very talented Freddie Lee Thompson and Jim Roberts.  They very kindly gave up their evening to document the night and now they have both generously donated all these photos to help raise additional funds for Pilgrims Hospices.  Unwatermarked digital photos (black & white & colour versions) are available to view by clicking on the link HERE and can be purchased for a suggested £4.00 donation each, for your own personal use. Simply make a note of the photos you would like to purchase and donate the appropriate amount quoting the reference number (bottom left hand corner) in the comment box. The images will be sent directly to your email address.

IMPORTANT: Either leave your email address when you make your donation or email your name to casablancatheevent@yahoo.co.uk so we can email you your digital images via YouSendIt.

IMPORTANT: Please DO NOT claim gift aid on your photo purchase and read ALL of this page to avoid any disappointment.

This page was initially set-up for the on-line purchase of tickets for the charity screening of  'Casablanca' at Silver Screen Cinema Folkestone on Saturday 2nd March 2013.  Red carpet from 7pm, seated by 7.45pm, screening 8pm prompt.

For one magical night only, the historic town’s last remaining picture house, The Silver Screen Cinema Folkestone, stepped back in time and screened the 70th anniversary print of arguably the greatest movie of all time, the Oscar winning masterpiece that is ‘Casablanca’… the way it should be seen. The evening delivered the spirit of the Golden Age of Hollywood with a red carpet entrance and a black tie / Hollywood glamour dress code.  The strictly limited event tickets were individually numbered and there was a very special free prize draw at the end of the screening for all ticket holders.
