Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, where you have the unique opportunity to sponsor me in aid of the National Autistic Society.
As some of you are aware, my youngest daughter was diagnosed with Higher Functioning Autism last March. It has been an interesting, challenging, emotional and sometimes frustrating journey for us all, but I wouldn't change her for the world!
Having the diagnosis will help her succeed in life, especially with her difficult emotional and social journey ahead of her at secondary school.
I choose to support the NAS so they can continue to support families like ours. Even support in the smallest form can help raise a family's moral, awareness and capacity to continue to support each other.
I will be running (a loose description of what I pound out on the streets really, but never mind!) the Two Castles Run on the 6th June 2010. The 'run' is just over 6 miles and hopefully it will be a gloriously sunny day (this is England after all!).
Thank you for looking at my page and possibly supporting the National Autistic Society. Please read below if you wish to contribute.
Wish me luck :-)
