My brother Nick died from suicide early one Saturday morning in May 2021. This was his second attempt in under 4 weeks. We knew little of the struggle he had wrestled with for many years prior, and while, once we knew, we tried to move as quickly as we could to get the support he so desperately needed, we were too late.

The Ripple charity was set up by Alice Hendy, whose brother also committed suicide.  He was 21.  The purpose of the charity is to ensure immediate mental health support is presented to individuals following harmful online search via innovative technology and consisting of a choice of help and resources to prevent self harm and suicide.
