I have now left Jordan and the HRF team there will now be distributing on our behalf. All donations to this page will be treated as Zakat and regular donations, and not necessarily distributed within 24 hours (but we will endeavour to do it as quickly as possible).

After witnessing the plight of refugees in Greece over the last 3 years, I have decided to travel to Jordan with HRF within the last 10 days of Ramadan to deliver essential food items to refugees and needy families in Jordan. 

All donations will be distributed while I'm there on the ground. I will be taking part in HRF's amazing 24 hour Zakat delivery programme - your Zakat, Sadaqa and donations will be hand delivered by our team within 24 hours of your online donation being made. This is a unique and transparent method of distributing donations which will give peace of mind to those who give. When on the ground I will be providing regular online updates including some of the families who receive the items, I will also provide information on the exact numbers of food parcels delivered by us each day. 

£60 will provide a food parcel for a family in Ramadan

£300 will provide for 5 families

£1200 will provide for 20 families

I intend to increase the fundraising target when it is achieved (In Shaa Allah) to be able to have as big an impact and help as many families as possible whilst I'm over there.
