Im Zak Briggs-Price, a 17 year old who believes in a world where everyone has a voice to speak out and live their life in freedom.
On April 11th 2010, me and 22 other friends cycled 40 miles in aid of 'Help for Heroes', the charity who supports the injured soldiers in service for their country.
Walk for Justice
In May 2011 me and my team will be walking the 100 miles of the west highland way, its one of the most challenging walks in Britain today. Were hoping to raise money for the charity to help change the lives of the people effected by human trafficking, we feel that 'Hope For Justice' is the charity that can make the difference.
Hope For Justice
I cannot stand the awful fact that children as young as three years old are being sold into slavery in the UK. It breaks my heart to have seen children as young as twelve years old who have been forced to sell their bodies for sex. The charity's aim is to make this country uninhabitable for traffickers and a place where they can no longer continue with their despicable trade.
THE FACTS
99% OF TRAFFICKED VICTIMS ARE NEVER RESCUED.
1.2 MILLION CHILDREN ARE TRAFFICKED EVERY YEAR, 2 EVERY MINUTE.
THE AVERAGE AGE OF THE VICTIMS ARE 14.
$9.5 BILLION IS MADE THROUGH HUMAN TRAFFICKING EACH YEAR.
ITS ESTIMATED BY THE U.N THAT 80% OF PEOPLE TRAFFICKED ARE TAKEN FOR SEXUAL EXPLOITATION.
The people who are reading these calls of help
Doing this isn't a job of mine, its a hobby thats changed my life, to set up these events to help the people that need it most in our nations has turned now into a passion. The figures you have read above are not numbers, these are really people who have loved ones and a home.
I don't ask for anything in return, we just need help.
The donations of this page are sent directly to the charity, and however small your donation it will make the difference. please give generously.
Thank you,
Zak Briggs-Price
And all the team.
