I'm taking part in the London Marathon this April to raise money and help beat prostate cancer. 1 in 8 men are affected by prostate cancer in the UK. That's thousands of dads, grandads, partners, brothers, sons, uncles and mates. The money raised will fund research into lifesaving treatments for prostate cancer and provide practical support to men and their families. 

Family and friends have been through the trauma of prostate cancer, but thankfully, due to the research done by Prostate UK, they are still with us today. However, others aren't so lucky, so I'd like to use my place in the marathon so that those unfortunate to get it in the future, all have the best chance of survival.
