The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.

Story

Guide Dogs is an amazing charity. Their work simply gives people their independence back. 180,000 blind or partially sighted people never leave their home each year – imagine being confined to your own home, just because you can’t see.

Since founding Article 10 four years ago, we have supported Guide Dogs by taking part in their annual challenge events and have already raised over £10,000. But this year we wanted to do something bigger and better, and so, the Article 10 Keswick Challenge was born.

Our team will climb the mountain passes of Skiddaw (10km), mountain bike the trails of the Whinlatter Pass (17km) and paddle a course on Derwent Water (3km) using the latest 'sit on top' canoes - all within ten hours.

Please dig deep and sponsor us now, to help us achieve our team's target of £2,000!
